I think my most recent one was some guy who was ENRAGED he'd watched me for 10 minutes of "diversions and failing to get to the point" and it's a bit - dude, if you've not realised that 25 seconds in that's kinda on you by this point.

I'm surprised how much life the old Malty Sarsons reference has had. I guess in 20 years we'll come back and find they're still using it in Brazil.

The most astonishing run of wretchedness I can think of right now is every reissue of "A Christmas Gift For You From Philles Records" between 1972 and 1985.
(Including retitling the entire album as a Phil Spector ego trip!)

I went through several rounds of that with a courier where the work address had a 24 hour staffed reception... but only on one of the entrances.

I guess there's still 55 minutes in which I could potentially be raptured, although I'm not sure what differences to my current activity that would make. Possibly I'd have that fully restored Garrard 401 that I keep convincing myself I have neither the space nor spare cash for.

I've got one that's more than 10x that and I bet nobody came out of that memorial having a slightly better understanding of how to play OpenTTD.

IMO that's one of the biggest factors here, there are *multiple* things happening, not all of them experienced by the same people at the same time.
Especially now it's crossed over to the mainstream, and there's a lot of incentive to put out a "here's the one reason YouTube is broken" video.
