I use "can you see them jumping up and landing on their enemies sword with a supernaturally light step?" As a litmus test, and yeah that passes.

Donar and Sucellos wept, yes.

Channelling the rage of a dozen gold, silver and blacksmith teachers all at once here. A roar to shudder the foundation of creation itself. Word etched into creation, even by the (adoptive) father of Christ himself.
SWING.
FROM.
THE.
WRIST.

Now I'm imagining Miles as the Main Character giving the player instructions over coms like so many older franchise adaptations... and Miles is very suited for the role and it would be terrible.

*is a simple system

That said, its combat engine is system but interesting as well. This new edition is looking pretty ambitious, with a bunch of fleet lists and 3 eras of play with their own objective decks, focusing on the classic corp profit, or just straight up war as you choose I think? Defo keeping an eye on it.

Your playing big space corps, of course you are evil like that. The games reception was hampered by being Ospreys first game in the spaceship genre, and I think a lot of people picked it up expecting generic ship war, which I don't think is the games ideal place to be.

It really flips victory points on its head, from abstract measure to cold hard cash. The random objectives and potentially multiple tables you play on at the same time are great and created interesting gameplay moments for us. Enemy clearly winning the medivac mission? Blow up the hospital station!

Something normally found on a steamer trunk, sounds about right.

Honestly my mind is stuck on what kind of latch would be the most practical choice here.
November 14, 2025 at 11:09 AM
...is that what they mean by junk in the trunk?

Eur-o-i-des. Wasn't he the guy that argued that two touching perfect spheres have a infinitely small contact point and therefore can't actually touch each other?

Reading that like the name of a greek philosopher.

I'd say Musk would probably be talking about the blade runner from the book they took the name from, somebody smuggling medical supplies to private clinics to fight a nationalized healthcare system. (the oppression!)... But its Musk, we know he doesn't read.

That's rather blatant, same angle and everything.

Will the flight be safe? Well... Don't hold your breath.
November 13, 2025 at 11:01 AM
"surely you see the problem with this?" -"yes we thought of that, don't worry, there are air holes in the ball, so it's perfectly safe"
November 13, 2025 at 10:58 AM
This is terrible, I love it.
