Finally got a peaceful weekend to start some new sculpts. These two roughed in very quickly/easily. Fingers crossed should be ready to hollow out in the next day or so and I’ll be able to tighten up the details after that!

Sometimes my antiquing comes in handy! Just found a pottery wheel for less than half of its new retail after the 20% discount (plus a $100 pottery stool)! The head needs a little love, but very very happy to help the husband get one step closer to opening a public pottery studio here in town!

Did you know that your local food banks can receive fresh produce? If you have excess harvest, donate! This big ole box went over to my neighborhood bank today! Check out AmpleHarvest.org to see if they accept fresh produce or just give them a call, mine was so excited to get these!

Got home from the con at 1am last night, had to jump straight back into the day job today, but I harvested around twenty pounds of tomatoes tonight, so that’s something!!

Push push push pushing along! I have SO many pieces I’m bringing to AC in a few weeks! Last day of sculpting today (Also it’s my birthday today?!) and then I’m shifting to glazing and firing. Wish us luck!

I’ve been gardening in the evenings this spring. The farmers almanac was such a liar for space needs for spaghetti squash, cantaloupe & seedless watermelon. This is a 4’x12’ planter. I’ve given up containing one of each plant and allowed them to roam outwards. The squash has reached 10’ out so far.
