And reliance on faith groups means that people can be left without help if they don't align with that group's beliefs. Terrifying for LGBTQIA+ folks who are already denied services by faith-based charities like Salvation Army.

Cool cool cool. So glad that trans peoples' suffering and deaths were traded for something valuable, like vaguely appeasing the right wing.
