In episode 36 we briefly touch on a recent study which showed that roleplaying games can benefit your mental health - plus the other benefits of escapism, self-exploration, creative expression, caregiving, social support, and routine. We definitely agree!

George mentions the game Lichcraft by @laurieoc.bsky.social in episode 36: an RPG set in future dystopian Britain, where you play as trans necromancers seeking immortality to get to the end of a 300 year long NHS waiting list. We really want to play this!

Non Glasgwegian listeners to episode 36 might have been confused by Ailsa shouting "haud the bus!" when unexpectedly finding extra stickers in her mystery bag. Basically it means "hold the bus" or simply "wait a minute."

We have a few of the zines that @gonzohistory.bsky.social has made and they are definitely worth checking out.

The Pamphlet of Pantheons is a particularly good guide to making a set of deities for your fantasy TTRPG setting
Anyway, while I'm grumbling about not having a good way to sell my cool zines, if you want to buy some print copies, just drop me a message and we'll work it out.

I want to raise money for my next print run, so I need to move some of this stuff! Want to know what one's about? Ask me a question!
