the white american male will overlook almost anything if you give them a steady job with a certain amount of dignity

so i think it all rides on whether trump can give them that.

and yeah. with the the tech cuddling it looks like they’re going in the opposite direction.

i think it all depends on how much butter they’re willing to give to their voter base. the nazis were smart about that. but with things like the DOGE i don’t see much material gain for trump’s base anytime soon.

a lot (all, maybe?) depends on if manufacturing jobs come back here in the next 2 years

admittedly rationing was also accompanied by a shocking increase in quality of life, good jobs and generous government welfare programs so that probably helped make the medicine go down. trump doesn’t have that.

i hope it fails! and maybe it’s a long shot. but i could see him pulling it off. messaging is his greatest skill
