Singin’ in the Rain, Charade and the Court Jester are examples of the latter. they do help me escape my troubles but they aren’t relaxing viewing; they arouse intense emotional responses

a very late bluesky UPDATE: my play went very well! packed houses and audiences seemed to love it, the theater wants to work with us again in the future.
