I got to bring out the full bisexual lighting rig for the portrait booth at a Locked Tomb larp yesterday. I managed to sneak in a few selfies at the end because of course I did. It was perfect timing, because I also just had my hair recolored last week. Yay for my new profile pic!
The hottest person you know (me) stares stoically into the distance as if contemplating a future filled with fully-automated luxury gay space communism rather than just more death-cult capitalism. Dark eyes reflect my determination and resolve — as well as triple catch-lights conferring a slightly alien perspective. My impeccable cheekbones are bisexually illuminated with vivid magenta light on one side and a gentle teal from the other. I'm wearing round spectacles with thin rims and arms which denote me as an intellectual who reads Theory, as well as a purple plaid shirt marking me a practical type who also engages in Praxis. My hair is a coruscating effervescence of lavender and indigo, swept into an asymmetric messy queer bob over a sideshave undercut. This picture isn't _explicitly_ saying that I'm a queer anti-fascist baddie ready to do my part to usher in a better tomorrow, but that's definitely the subtext.

First of all, Lilith did nothing wrong. But also, does anyone else think that Senoy, Sansenoi, & Semangelov have strong just-a-little-guy energy? These three weird birds are supposed to protect me? From what, lawn seed?

The angels look like marginalia doodles. Senoy and Sansenoy have plump oval bodies with two little cross-hatched leggies on the bottom. They have thin necks, a single visible eye, and pointed curved beaks, with a feather-like appendage or tail behind them. Semangelov is a narrow rectangle, with longer but still adorable leggies, and a diagonal squared-off neck and little sharp corner beak. The feather or tail on Semangelov is also squared-off and trapezoidal rather than curved.

Yep, I think that my chaotic bisexual disaster war criminal #NinthHouse cavalier prisoner-of-war costume came out pretty dang well for this #NonaTheNinth-era larp.
The cavalier primary of the Ninth House to serve the King Undying stands before you in a power pose, shoulders back and hips cocked, skeleton-gloved-hands resting easy but ready at their sides. Long hair trails majestically over their bare shoulders above a "Be Gay Do Crime" tank top with "against humanity" doodled on as if an afterthought. A chest and shoulder harness supports holsters & sheathes for several weapons which seem to be missing. Their face has only a hint of black around the lips and nose, parsimonious suggesting the visage of a skeleton. Even behind reflective blue lenses, the viewer can feel this cavalier's eyes sizing them up & assessing them: friend or foe; threat or… opportunity?

Truly the siren song of a Pelican case "secured" with something other than a a TSA master-keyed lock is irresistible to any baggage screener. Nothing more tempting than to find an excuse to break out the bolt cutters.
Two Master (and I use this term loosely) "locks", cleanly sliced through the shackle.

Of course, there's plenty of crypto*graphy*: Ed25519 & x25519, XChaCha20-Poly1305, BLAKE3, and Argon2. No cryptozoology as yet, but I'm sure that'll fall into place once the network is up and running. 🦄

Empirically, factually, truthfully: marijuana and its active ingredients do not and have never qualified as a schedule 1 substance. Cannabinoids just absolutely do not have much potential for abuse. Every researcher who goes within a mile of the stuff finds dozens of miracle applications for it.
The Department of Health and Human Services has recommended to the Drug Enforcement Administration that it should downgrade marijuana from a Schedule 1 to a Schedule 3 controlled substance, which is defined as having "a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence." The move would put marijuana in the ranks of ketamine, testosterone, and products containing less than 90 milligrams of codeine.
