The recent renaissance of turn based games is great to see. I hope we see this for other types of games as well. I personally hope to see a modernized tower defense game at some point.

Incredible how much "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," an obviously great film in its own right, foreshadows the rest of Miyazaki's filmography. We've got coming of age, ancient artifacts, environmental peril, crass militarism, doomsday machines, and weird flying machines.
