This is really nice Jason, I particularly like the twist in the torso and the X movement that keeps it feeling bouncy at all angles.

I've looked around online even on 🏴‍☠️ sites and come up empty... Internet Archive only has the first disc (did you know they have whole CDs? Crazy), couldn't find any Windows editions of the CDs being sold on eBay, etc... I don't want to bother you but I'm pretty stumped!

You know what I only just noticed this year is that he's holding a fork and a knife. What's the knife for?

I think awareness, any awareness, helps, and that we really can't know for sure if someone is "faking it" or if what they're experiencing is real, so I give people the benefit of the doubt. Teenagers especially are trying to figure themselves out and it's a process of trial and error.

And again, frankly, don't give a shit if some people are faking it for "clout" if it means someone somewhere who has struggled with this for years without any idea why can find out what it is and get help.

I don't doubt this is a thing. But saying that people who are just "a little bendy" can't claim to have EDS just because your symptoms are worse is very gatekeepy. It's a very typical "invisible" syndrome and just because some people have a "lesser" of it doesn't mean they're faking it for clout.

I sincerely don't care if some teenagers mistakenly believe they have EDS if it means maybe more doctors will give a shit about it and people like me don't have to spend years getting bounced around specialists and told I'm "too young" to have a problem because they can't connect the dots.

This kind of gatekeepy bullshit is why I don't tell doctors I have hEDS, other than the fact most of them don't know what it is. Symptoms are on a spectrum, and it's not a contest to be the most disabled to qualify. The existence of people with a "easier" time doesn't disqualify your suffering.

I'm so glad this creepy thing wasn't around when I was a kid, it seems like a major chore for the parents when there's already so much to do at the holidays. I feel like this is one of those things that exists because of algorithms and social media encouraging people to go to extremes.
