Recently had a solar and battery system installed. Home Assistant makes it so easy to see where the energy is going and net use. Far easier than the manufacturer’s app. #homeassistant #solar

People ask me why I don't do more testing with Nvidia Jetson.
I think the reaction to the (overpriced) DGX Spark is a good illustration. Costs too much for what it does, alternatives are better supported and faster at a lower price point, and you don't get stuck on an old OS.

Weather and climate research funds are being “chainsawed” from NOAA's budget. Last I checked, Louisiana & Florida, which are maximally susceptible to Hurricanes, voted Red in the last General Election.
Wondering if residents there knew in advance this would happen.

EnelX abandoned support for our JuiceBox EV charger and left us with a "dumb" charger.
Fortunately, OpenEVSE has made a replacement controller that is plug and play and restores functionality (and then some). And it's open source. 15 minutes and it's done!
