Why don't women report? Even with evidence and the worst trauma, men aren't punished. We are. The mom heard one assault and left, they were both recorded, one girl almost died. Apart from a record this asshole has no real punishment. It's on VIDEO, these girls SCREAMING for help. And yet, nothing.

Stardust is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen and it's not even just because she's in my family. She's just damn photogenic. She had dental surgery yesterday and still, so adorable. I, on the other hand, am a gremlin on the best of days

It's wild that I'm lucky to have a husband that is aware he doesn't know more about having a uterus than he, a non-uterus haver, does. And yet. (Context: I sent a video in which a man told his girlfriend PMS isn't real and she handled it far more rationally than I would have)

Boy is back in his cone because he somehow managed to injure the paw on his other back leg. He is displeased about this, as are we all because he won't stop groaning over it. I would also love for the constant injuries to cease, poor man has had enough

I know it's exhausting to keep up the outrage but that's also what they're banking on. This isn't fucking normal, and isn't part of a democracy. Governments who abduct people and imprison them without due process are not good fucking governments.

I know WHY we don't have tests to vote, I've read all the cases, and I AGREE with it. But all these willfully and loudly stupid (mostly white) people in this country have really been testing my commitment to the cause the past ten years. The Internet was supposed to make us better. Not worse

Telling myself the reason I have a hard time working now is because I keep all my interests front and center at my desk, my writing laptop and journal and a book right under my monitors. Definitely that. No, I will not move them because I'm comfortable in that fantasy, thank you.
