My son at the top of Cypress. If the state of the world has you down get out into nature. Doctors actually prescribe this now. It’s not going to fix the US but it helps with mental health, and we are teaching kids to care about the environment.

The only NF books I usually read are about climate change but this book spoke to me- from the joy of more confidence, to the ridiculous notion that ‘women of a certain age’ aren’t pretty. I also relate bc I know chronic pain, and the frustration and loneliness that comes with it. Loved it!
