My 2nd half marathon is in the books! The rain in the last few miles sucked, but the energy and overall level of organization was great. I also shaved off 10 min from last month’s half. For half this fall, I plan to pay more attention to the course in advance 😅 and have a better pace and strategy.

I’m a fan of the focus modes on the iOS. Fitness is my fav. I have it set to turn on when I start a workout (works across workout apps) and when I arrive at my gym. The only notifications I get outside of any from the workout apps are messages from my mom, and even that’s under consideration 😅.

I got a tix at the last minute to see the 2017 Brave New Voices Grand Slam Finals @ the Opera House in SF and remember the chills running through my body during this performance. I revisit it every so often (along with the chills), and today seems to be an appropriate day.
