Happy #Halloween!
This Roman miniature skeleton with flexible joints, jumps and dances when shaken.
The Romans called these skeletons larva convivalis, meaning banquet ghost, and were handed out to guests at dinner parties to remind them to have fun while they were alive.

Jouw stem telt

These sightings are linked to the successful reintroduction of beavers to the Netherlands in 1988.
The beaver appears on the coat of arms of the family van Beveren (1633-1723), ambachtsheren (Lords of the guilds) of West- IJsselmonde.

These lovely wooden sculptures of beavers are placed on the Cor Koeboomplein in the district IJsselmonde of the city of Rotterdam. Beavers disappeared from Rotterdam about 200 years ago after being hunted to extinction.
But in the past years they have been making a comeback.
