If Sex Matters et al/the EHRC are correct – then in passing the Equality Act 2010, Parliament's intent was to implement a nationwide bathroom ban for trans people in complete reversal of decades of practice in this country, and trends towards increasing recognition across the world. It's ludicrous.

The EA addresses trans rights in detail, and expressly protects them. How could its intention have been to undermine the main purpose of the GRA (that a person with a GRC is to be legally recognised as their acquired sex)? And without saying so?
