Absolutism generally makes everyone look like idiots. My wife skews more towards the superficial and cosy sort of media whilst I lean heavily towards introspective or dark expression but neither of us disregard the other’s taste or preferences. Life is a variety of experiences and art reflects.

I…uh, the Nazi comment kinda caught me off guard here because I don’t know what accusations you’re referring to there.

Sure, but those collaborators are usually (and especially in the case of a series like HP) employees of the publishing house, not necessarily independent contractors with skin in the game for the financial revenue of those specific titles.
Either way, I’m just expressing my personal approach.

The book is the result of a single creators authorial intent, everyone else is there to facilitate that.
That’s why I don’t support those books but am happy to keep watching the films. Different creative enterprise.

Sure. That’s why I watch other wrestling too. But I’m not watching for ‘the brand’, I’m watching for specific performers I enjoy.
If the performers I liked left WWE, I’d like nothing more than to distance myself from that toxicity but, as with most things in life, it isn’t a zero sum game.

Sure. That’s why I watch other wrestling too. But I’m not watching for ‘the brand’, I’m watching for specific performers I enjoy.
