A reminder: Tariffs are a regressive tax that drives up prices on everyday goods. They disproportionately hurt the working class and poor who bear the brunt of higher costs while wealthier consumers feel significantly less impact.

There is zero reporting about what’s going on in right wing media. None. Late last night, Trump fired the independent inspectors general of at least 12 major federal agencies.

Inspectors general are tasked with rooting out fraud, abuse, and corruption.

Trump wants loyalists in these positions — a key tenant of Project 2025.
