Yes it is! CT played an important role during the war.. I have over 30 ancestors I think that participated.

Yes at first I only saw the E but when I zoomed in with the camera I saw the MC as well which means it was my grandma watch probably a gift from someone in the family. As she left NYC when she was about 10.

Yes could go back further or maybe a first marriage? I noticed more of this on my maternal side the names move down with each generation. It can be confusing at times.
