日本とアメリカを見ていると政治家や庶民に影響力のある多くが分断を煽る目的で発信している印象を持ちます。批判が彼等に向かないようにするのも理由の一つでしょうがそうなることに何かしらのメリットが彼等にはあるのではないかと考えてしまいます。

その方に共感します。私も随分、悩んでます。ただアメリカの田舎でhermitの生活を考えると身を守る為に銃を所持した方が安心だったりするのでは？と考えたりすると日本に留まった方がいいのでは？…と。ただ日本も最近は無差別な物騒な事件も増え、地域によって外国人への差別も目立つようになり日米のハーフでも英語を話したり、読んでると肩身が狭い思いをする事が以前より増えました。
