I have so much stuff on my brain that I need to remember and/or do that I about had an existential crisis this morning because I was so tired when I got off work but had to run errands. I ate a McGriddle in the Kroger parking lot and pulled it together.

It was hard to get a good picture, but my doodle loves to stick her whole face in the snow to sniff things, especially if she smells a rabbit that’s recently been by (for whatever reason we have a ton of rabbits in my neighborhood).
I call her Snow Beard the Dog Pirate.

I am proud of myself I did toss a lot of old unnecessary ornaments this year. After decorating my tree I’m trying to figure out how I had the space to squeeze them on all these years in the first place. 😆

It’s super rare I don’t have my tree up before December, I have had no motivation until tonight to put the energy into putting it up and getting it decorated. It’s bittersweet. It makes me feel peace and joy. But also a lot of sadness because my mom isn’t here to share in the season.

This holiday weekend off with my husband has been a blessing. We’ve been able to have quality time together, hit the gym, shop, & now unwinding with a glass of ice wine from Aldi.
He leaves Wednesday for a 2 day work training trip then has a jiu jitsu camp this weekend so I’ll be missing him.
