When you live in the United States, sometimes it's easy to forget that other areas of the world are still fighting for the rights we have become accustomed to here. In some places people are still killed for being part of the LGBTQ+ community. I count my blessings.

The Fandom has a heavy heart today. For those feeling the effects of this loss, remember to lean on friends and family for support.
Know that it's okay to cry because he's gone. It's okay to feel angry at the cancer. It's okay to laugh and remember good times.

Mark has passed on as many of you already know. Please take the time you need for yourselves to process this loss. I know a lot of you must be hurting like I am, it is painful to loose someone who has had such an impact on so many. He lived a good life surrounded by love.

I don't know Mark personally, but in a way I think the majority of us "know" Mark because of his influence and leadership in this community over the years.

UPDATE: Mark's journey has grown tougher; he's now unable to speak or open his eyes and hasn't eaten for several days....

I'm incredibly lucky to have some of the most amazing people in my life. There's a few people that I've really gotten close to that I get to share emotions with in ways I never thought possible. I'm happy they see me as worthy of that connection. I feel special!

Kids now are all about building in Roblox or crafting in Minecraft, but me, I stuck to games with financial management, making people pay $20 for an umbrella, and throw up after riding a roller coaster.

The most frustrating thing about being a hypnotherapist is the burden of confidentiality. There's times when I get done with a session, and I just wanna scream to the world about all the progress I made with a client and how proud I am of them, but I can't. Worth it tho :)

As 2023 closes, I'm both happy and sad. I've made friends who have made my life so much better, and a few relationships really deepened. I also remember those we lost, a couple which were really hard losses. I move forward with a sense of hope and with more love in my heart than when the year began.
