It is the same with diversification of games. People can complain all they want (on both sides of the argument) but things will only change if people vote with their wallets. If companies make big bank on sexy ladies then that’s what they’re gonna do. Simple as

My wife always presses the power button on her Mac, so roughly at least once a day. That said, it isn’t really a big deal but it is a very interesting design choice to say the least

I agree with you from a purely business pov!
From an employee pov where you can simply lose your job because you’re just a number and top level and investors etc want more money feels pretty shit.
You mention it going to R&D and that’d be nice but I wonder if that’s actually the case!

Could you explain how that would result into a company going bankrupt? I just think mass layoffs like this shouldn’t go unpunished at the top level.
Of course they should be able to let people go, it’s just kinda crazy that they’re profitable and letting go 20% off staff

Honestly there should be some kind of law that whenever there’s a mass layoff we make sure that the C-Suite loses a significant chunk of their salary etc. Make them feel it as well when they kick a lot of people to the street
