I'm actually up and am reminded that Max won't let you watch their pre-stream commercials and put you into a splash screen that says your event begins soon before autostarting live coverage. I mean, even Flo can do that.

Well, I made some poor choices this morning. Let myself be talked into a 50-mile ride instead of staying home and watching the race. Cooler weather and my throat were not getting along so I turned around after 4 miles. Now I sit here at the start in the middle of nowhere waiting for the others.

Maybe hiking up 3 sand dunes after sitting around for 6 weeks wasn't smart. The leg cramps weren't fun, but it sure was pretty.

There are still good people in the world. Heard something slide off the roof of the car when we went around the corner. Debated what it was for a block or so. He finally pulled into a parking lot when He realized it was probably his phone. Gentleman pulled in next to us and had the phone for us.

Me sitting here watching the Vuelta because my allergies took over on my way home from NC last week. Feel almost human but not enough to ride 50 miles. Thought I might ride a little bit of the route with friends since they go by the AirBnB. But I am staring out at the rain... LOL

11 months since I started physical therapy for mystery hip pain that didn't set in until 30 miles into a ride and I can finally say it appears to have solved the problem. While I struggled the last 7ish miles of our 40-mile ride yesterday for various reasons, none were due to hip pain. 🙂

Switched to crochet for today. Picked up a cheap kit to practice/relearn. Possibly a gift for my Mom, who loves flamingos. Not loving this yarn but you get what you pay for.

Loved seeing this news when I got home today.
Lovely day. I biked 20 miles outside with only one little hiccup with my breathing due to mower fumes. Picked up a couple of hanging baskets for the patio along with a felting kit at the local feed and garden store. Then picked up some art batts at my favorite fiber store. Now baseball. 🙂

Looking forward to and nervous for tomorrow morning. It will be my first ride outside since I stepped off the bike last September due to what I had thought before the ride was a little cough. After months of unknown respiratory illnesses and a diagnosis of VCD, I hope I have finally recovered. 🤞🏻
