Maybe hiking up 3 sand dunes after sitting around for 6 weeks wasn't smart. The leg cramps weren't fun, but it sure was pretty.

Switched to crochet for today. Picked up a cheap kit to practice/relearn. Possibly a gift for my Mom, who loves flamingos. Not loving this yarn but you get what you pay for.

Quiet morning. Got up too late to watch the Giro live. Instead lazing around watching the TDF and felting. I'll watch the Giro later and hopefully be inspired while on my trainer.

Quiet morning. Got up too late to watch the Giro live. Instead lazing around watching the TDF and felting. I'll watch the Giro later and hopefully be inspired while on my trainer.

Lovely day. I biked 20 miles outside with only one little hiccup with my breathing due to mower fumes. Picked up a couple of hanging baskets for the patio along with a felting kit at the local feed and garden store. Then picked up some art batts at my favorite fiber store. Now baseball. 🙂

Blended wool for the 2nd one tonight. I love the blends. Not sure I love them for my project, but I'm running short on time. Me and my last-minute gift ideas. 😂 On the plus side, carding wool was a relaxing change from the chaos at work today.

I used the first one for experimentation. Not a fan of air dry clay. Do like the wild crest. On the fence about the wings and tail. LOL

Some may remember how excited I was that my cousin had salvaged 4 of my grandmother's ceramic birds and kindly sent me one when I had mentioned fond memories of them and my grandmother.
I am heartbroken this week because one of the glass shelves in my cabinet shattered and broke it in pieces.

My kid prefers something like this, different brand though. I always preferred a detangling come with conditioner in the tub when they were little for less breakage.

New race day project. Phrase heard on one of Liongate Farm's YouTube tutorials. I initially joked I need that on a Sampler type project. Turns out I decided to make it a little sign for my future workspace.

A couple of new WIP pictures. Slowly building up the feet. This past weekend, I wet felted the wings and felt fabric for the stomach. Those pictures weren't great. 🤷♀️ Also, not fully pictured, I used polymer clay for the first time to create the nails and horns.
