The IHR (2005) State Parties have the right to decide whether or not to adopt & implement the IHR amendments. We regret 🇺🇸 decision to reject the amendments adopted by consensus by the WHA in 2024 —incl. by 🇺🇸, as 🇺🇸 played an active role in developing & negotiating the amendments with other countries.
