Man, this whole TikTok situation has really, really bad vibes and for people watching this and everything else going on and still thinking things are just going to be fine, I hope reality sets in and they can prepare accordingly.

If anyone has ever been in a manipulative relationship, especially with a narcissist, you can see what’s up with TikTok being restored clear as day. That push/pull dynamic is incredibly damaging to people.

For anyone curious about how I feel with the ban getting lifted half a day later:

Mostly frustrated that we live in this timeline where oligarchs play tiddlywinks with our lives.

Glad it’s back, but not excited about the implications.

Restricting replies cause I don’t need yesterday all over.

The TikTok ban represents the most significant and widespread deplatforming of creators in American internet history. It far surpasses Vine's closure in 2017 in both scale and impact, and stands to permanently reshape the ideological tilt of the online creator landscape.

Looking for plant and animal lovers, women who are spiritual, grounded, loving, and neurodivergent. I think mindfulness and noticing beauty help us to move through difficult seasons with a bit of joy. Beauty is healing 💚

Obviously I’m experiencing dopamine withdrawal because of the #tiktokban But this is forcing me to sit with my thoughts and not disassociate; already had a mind blowing realization about myself and it’s only 10 AM 😅

Every day I battle the urge to buy some farmland, couple chickens, a good cow, a barn cat, sheep dog, and live off the earth, happy and at peace..

But I feel like my work isn’t done & I just deeply want to help

Just a reminder of some of the context around the TikTok ban: In 2020, Trump tried to ban it via executive order a couple months after K-pop fans used it to organize fake signups to Trump’s Tulsa rally, which led him to publicly overestimate how large the crowd size would be.
