Calvin and Hobbes is so much more interesting as a book after reading several decades of Peanuts in comparison
Its pacing really feels like an inner dialog, full of tangents and asides and emotional outbursts next to Peanuts' unique beats that often feels like joke said under your breath

Kenan's two backups was easily the best one out of all the 2023 Action Comics backups. Still disappointing that PKJ never figured out how to use Conner, Kenan, Kara, John Henry or Nat, and still mad at the very mediocre Jurgens scripted Jon Kent backups that took up space
