Oh man, on our way back from a work conference I watched a colleague feed $300 into a slot machine at the Vegas airport in the space of 60 seconds.
Pretty sure he did make our flight, but I hustled off to the bar bc I couldn’t watch any more 😬

Even with closed primaries people are going to do it. My old roommate is registered as a Republican just so she can vote in their primaries.
For that matter, I first registered as Green Party but switched to Democrat because of the primaries.

My team has been using github copilot in our code reviews and it’s… okay at catching typos and syntax errors I guess? Sigh.
But of course this isn’t one of the AI tools our employer actually pays for, i think we’re using my manager’s personal paid account. It’s all ridiculous.

I was mostly just annoyed that I couldn’t access the data.
But that was with one of the little ePatch monitors, the ones with all the dangling wires are more of a nuisance.

Yeah, my mental health is Not Good, but neither is reality, so... 🤷♂️
It doesn’t really seem like a problem my psychiatrist should be expected to solve. We just added Wellbutrin back to my med regimen earlier this week, though, so I guess we’ll see how that goes.

It’s a little better if you use the app—there are usually some buy-one-get-one-for-$1 deals—but yeah it’s gotten pretty expensive if you aren’t actively looking for the bargains.

I’ve been seeing psychiatrists at a teaching hospital’s outpatient clinic for maybe 6 years now (with a different doctor each year).
They’ve been pretty decent about dose increases (though concerned about my heart rate and BP) and about trying vyvanse.

When I first read the BPD diagnostic criteria I felt such relief. That I wasn’t the only one, that it’s treatable instead of just who I am as a person.
I don’t think it still applies 15+ years later, but it was a diagnosis that made me feel understood at a time when I was really struggling.

The lot # and expiration date are on the big bottle that the manufacturer sends to the pharmacy; if your pharmacy gives you a smaller quantity of pills instead of the sealed original bottle, your label probably does not include the lot # or original expiration date.

But if I’m feeling hopeless and depressed, that despair will make me overestimate how bad I’ve been feeling.
I need to identify my typical responses so i can accurately choose a score that indicates if I’m feeling better or worse than normal.

I kinda enjoy going in person, too—the volunteers at my polling place are always so upbeat.
You normally have to run a marathon or something if you want strangers to greet you that enthusiastically!
