My Netflix profile thinks I’m a Scorpio (I am not)

Nothing Scorpio-related is appearing on the profile of the actual Scorpio in the household, though. 🤨

How often have I been bothered by this in the last two weeks?

FIRST OF ALL, I have no idea how observant other people might be.

And my speed varies depending on my level of enthusiasm and confidence, so “usual” is hard to define

Didn't see many birds on my little birding walk today, but I did get some photos of this handsome dragonfly.

My state (in the US) doesn’t do DST, but the Navajo Nation does, resulting in this little glitch in the time zone map 🫠

Ok, I kinda went down a rabbit hole here. Yup, all of the ones with human food on the stove were posted within the last month; this type of video doesn’t come up when I restrict the search to pre-2025 content

She’s so sneaky. Pretending she needs help getting to her feet, and then rushing to the couch to steal my pillow while I’m up.

Feeling some of my usual post-vaccine cruddiness despite loading up on antihistamines, but I do love an excuse to nap with Greta.

Impressive meat/cheese-to-bread ratio in this snack pack!

Greta and Frank are SO READY to help

🧶 It’s finished!

Thanks to everyone who had tips for my quilting stitch-length woes a couple of weeks ago.

I think Toyota knows that people only open the owner’s manual for one reason 😆

now that I'm home from work and looking over these more closely, don't block ALL of them.

many of the domains are just widely-used services for uptime monitoring, payment processing, CAPTCHAs, etc. blocking those will cause problems with LOTS of websites, not just GPT.

Not a flat space big enough for the whole thing, unfortunately.

I’m using the machines extension table and pausing frequently to lift fabric up over its edge to create a sort of wrinkle the machine can pull from that doesn’t have anything holding it back.

🧶 Can I get some beginner quilting advice?

My sewing machine quilted some test scraps nicely, but on the actual quilt the stitch length becomes microscopic after sewing for a few inches (unless I tug on the fabric to help it along, which I know I shouldn’t do and which makes uneven stitches)

Sort of Southern*-themed restaurant with gift shop. biscuits, gravy, fried chicken, country music, racism, homophobia, etc.

I don’t remember ever eating there, but I strongly associate them with this game, which must be from the gift shop.

Yay!

I just found another photo with a baby that has a stouter-looking beak, too.

They do look a little odd. Idk

Our babies do have darker rings around their eyes than the adults, but yours almost have little black masks.

My phone thinks that my partner and I are the same person 😆

When your phone battery is dead, there’s nothing to read in the waiting room, and you’re running out of old receipts in your wallet.

Finally, clickbait from someone who isn’t a doctor or a mom

The ones with the long crank handles are great, too!

Good luck fitting one into a drawer, but really satisfying to use if you have weak hands or especially difficult cans.

I made a friendship bracelet for my camera 😆

My new camera lens (Industar 61) couldn't focus farther away than 15ish feet, and I fixed it myself--look at those nice, crisp power lines.

I'm usually too afraid to take shit apart and mess with it, but this went shockingly well.

A better picture of just how scratched the old lenses were.

Worn every day for six years, though, so they had a pretty good run.
