Enjoy discussing MLS, LA Galaxy, Leeds United, MMA, etc
Miami are operating in a sort of grey area with things like the De Paul loan into a DP deal in 2026 thing. But ultimately it is not Miami's fault that the league sanctioned it. Are there any examples of teams trying out a similarly grey area roster move and getting shut down by MLS?

I personally can't really stand all the complaining about Miami. I'm an old head MLS fan and I remember thinking over ten years ago how cool it would be if the GOAT came here. It actually happened and people don't want to just enjoy the brief window of time he will be balling out in MLS.

I like the Glesnes pick up if he’s paired alongside Garces with Rindov as the next man up. Of our two older CBs we obviously need to move Zanka at all costs. Wouldn’t mind Yoshida staying as a veteran presence but also wouldn’t be shocked if he takes the rumored move to the J-League.

Turns out “Sit back, never move the ball, only pass to the fast guy” doesn’t work great against good teams.

Holy shit. Didn’t realize they kept them to ZERO SHOTS.

Not ‘on goal’.
ZERO SHOTS.

Absolutely insane amount of grit to hang on for penalties. This Whitecaps team is one of my favorite teams to watch as a neutral in MLS history.

My guess is the FO is prizing his familiarity with the roster and the tactics over anything else. He also presumably isn't asking for that much money and will be easy to let go of if it doesn't work out.

Only bad part of the World Series was Fox made me look at and hear Dave Portnoy over and over during the commercial breaks. Legitimately one of the most nauseating cretins in sports media.

I need Vancouver to win it all this year

I see it as two great teams went at it and the Galaxy edged it. Galaxy had blown out Colorado and Minnesota, Seattle had just beat LAFC, the team many had pegged to win it all, away from home. Either team could have won it, but Seattle made the Galaxy go to war for it and it ended up costing us Puig

He's just bored and has nothing to do

I see the logic behind continuity in extending Vanney, but if Galaxy don't hit the ground running next season it is going to look like an all time bad decision. Which is wild given how good of a job Kuntz did in the three transfer windows he had leading up to MLS Cup 2024.
