And of course--the secret pocket in the back seam to hold Esquie's special rocks, Verso's wine, and maybe a suspicious mushroom!! This element was a lot of extra work to include but so worth it.

I wanted this plushie to feel as luxurious as a real rich family's toy from the 1800s, so I used upholstery fabrics like chenille, velvet, microsuedes, etc. And put tons of time into the small details & notions to get him perfect, like using shell buttons for the eyes rather than plastic

Sharing my finished Esquie plushie from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33!! As soon as I finished the game, I was so emotional I just had to be able to hug this toy in real life 😭 truly an incredible game 💔

i loved these guys so much. spent ages chasing them around the map, made a mod to give them smooch marks on their little heads, and even commissioned art (@Raposabranca) of Rook finally catching one 😂 sad there was more content for them we'll never see but glad they made it in in some way still!!!

Have been giving my wrists a break from embroidery for a few weeks, so have been doing other sewing projects instead... mainly working on the pattern mockup for an Esquie plushie from #ClairObscur #expedition33 !! obsessed with this game & this waterballoon (wineballoon...) of a creature

I do want to note that while I took like 4 years to make an updated version of this piece, most of that improvement actually came in the following couple weeks. it was mostly just figuring out how to lay threads better to shade & using less strands. All these below pieces were made within 6 months!

I recently decided to redo my very first Dragon Age themed embroidery piece (and second embroidery ever), since my technique changed & improved so much since then! Here's a little side by side ♥️❤️♥️ I really perfected the stained glass look after that one

some detail photos--I also used tiny dots of pink watercolor on top of the light threads of the circles/"eyes" in the background to better mimic the card art. A pretty subtle detail, but I love how it came out!

Lucanis Dellamorte 💜🗡️ stained glass style embroidery! This 8inch hoop is my biggest piece in this style yet, and allowed for so many tiny details. Most of this piece is done in silk thread, with a few areas of satin & metallic finish floss 💟

this will be my LAST wip update because the colors are DONE! next is outlining each section with black thread, framing it in the display hoop, and a few other end process touch-ups. home stretch now (nevermind that it is still 10-15 more hours of work)!!!

Bit by bit... getting closer!!! Metallic threads next, and so many of them 😩 i don't time myself on these pieces (can't remember to do so + i kind of Don't Want To Know) but i'd guess this has been 60-70 hours for just the stitching so far

I've had an insanely expensive month, so opening for just 1-2 embroidery commissions! My examples are all Dragon Age based, but open to any source inspiration or original concepts. Unlimited thread colors!

A commission info sheet with photos of embroidery examples. Text reads from the top down: Embroidery Commissions! by @threadwolf, stained glass style only. $200 for a 3.5 inch hoop: one figure/object or simple scene, medium level of detail. $400-600 for 6.5 inch hoop: 1-2 figures, high level of detail, price based on design complexity. Can be existing game asset (tarot, icon, etc) OR conversion of original/fanart (w/ artist permission). Each style of commission has images of completed embroideries at that size, and the bottom shows an artist's custom artwork, that artwork redrawn digitally in the stained glass style, and the final stitched project.

Another purple silk, this one still has some variegation, but much more subtle. The satin stitch fills always look much nicer at large sizes like this I think!

Going to be using a lot of specialty threads in this one--this first color is a hand dyed (not by me this time) silk thread from Gloriana! I loooove the subtle variegations in this purple, they show up so much more nicely in the larger frame size!
