Neoliberal shill
Both left wing and right wing populists are a bunch of idiots. It’s just sad that either band of idiots has any political power or influence.

San Francisco progressives never pass up a chance for performative outrage targeted at a big corporation.

They are never interested in accountability for criminals.

This law has zero respect for the 4th amendment.
November 17, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Coastal borders do count. So this bogus exception to 4th amendment applies to 2/3rds of the population.
November 17, 2025 at 6:03 PM
The 100 mile thing is a bogus rule the courts made up.

2/3rds of the country lives within 100 of a land or coastal border.

There’s no exception to 4th amendment in the Constitution that says it does not apply to 2/3rds of the country.

I guess he doesn’t realize that he’s too unlikable to be President.
November 17, 2025 at 5:59 PM
I can’t figure out why Bessent debases himself spouting non-sense like this. I read his Wikipedia page and he’s a both a smart and a rich guy. He could walk away but he’d rather torch his reputation to help Trump.

It is bribery.

However, per Trump v. the United States, SCOTUS said the President is immune from prosecution for all official acts.

SCOTUS will say accepting the bribes is an official act so our criminal POTUS is immune from prosecution.

Great ROI for the Swiss

1 kg bar of gold: $131k
Rolex desk clock: $11k

$142k for tariff relief is a bargain

The price to bribe Trump is surprisingly low.

LOL

This assumes that that customized applications was a good signal pre-LLMs.

Employers also pay more to taller people and unless one is fielding a basketball team, height has no impact on job performance.
November 13, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Trump has gotten away with everything else. He’ll declare this “hoax” and MAGA won’t care just like they haven’t cared about his myriad of other crimes.

No bus. I’ve found it common to have to go through security again when changing planes in Europe.

In German airports, it usually takes 5 minutes. Heathrow it took me 20. Germany efficiency vs, English inefficiency.
November 11, 2025 at 11:56 PM
While Smith made errors, Heathrow is absolute nightmare to transfer through. Last time I did a transfer, I nearly missed my connection because even airside, I had to go through security and a passport check line and then run over half a mile to my next gate.

I disagree with the entire premise. I see no problem with picture Victoria posted. It’s the not the city’s job to harass property owners into maintaining yards.

Victoria should have bought into an HOA community if she wants to force neighbors to maintain yard to certain standards.

I prefer US 120v over 240v since it penalizes mistakes much less, making DYI electrical work much safer.

Europeans will never agree to this.

Paying the minimum on a 50 year mortgage for 50 years is just dumb, unless you happen get blessed with an exceptionally low interest rate and even the should only be done by people who are investing the extra money.

Some people are determined not learn anything. Mamdani’s headline message was about bringing down the cost of living.

The median voter doesn’t get into the details so not a clear endorsement of specific policies.

However, it’s clear that voters think EVERYTHING COST TOO DAMN MUCH.

95% of FAA operations in FY 2024 were funded by the Airway & Airport Trust Fund (AATF) which in turn gets its funding from passenger and other aviation fees and taxes.

The overall FAA % is lower because the FAA has other accounts that are also funded by AATF.

Federal funding for aviation is almost entirely from the 7.5% excise tax on air tickets which is paid by passengers. While I support more trains, the argument doesn’t work because a tax on train tickets would not raise sufficient funds.
