Backlog from the summer
Hit a PR of 355 this morning.. when we do our 1-rep max, it feels like “Unbreakable” sometimes, where you just keep adding a little more weight and surprise yourself.
I think this was the best I’ve felt when lifting heavy - whole body feeling good and nothing tweaked 🤣

I never used this layer in Windy before. Really cool to see, over time, predicted snow/rain and this massive area of no rain.
I *need* to get away and looking for an area with consistent snow fall vs rain as the temps are a little screwy.

A friend drew my attention back to this photo of a Raven on a local mountain from last winter.
I really like it. The ravens are very common up there but they always have this quiet depth to them and I enjoy watching them. I feel like they see a world very different from the way we perceive it.

I’ve got the blue xterra with a moderate lift and heavy duty suspension, 31” tires.
The white one is next level with high clearance bumpers, roof tent and 33” tires. Clearly an outdoors person.

The left I did yesterday, stacking photos of different focus points/exposures.
The right was my original single image edit.
It’s something I’ve avoided because it feels inauthentic but I’m coming around to it, when they are of the same moment.

It’s pitch black in this mountain valley. I’m the only one here. The drive on the slick forest road was a little scary, and after not being this isolated in awhile, this is also scary. I had a shit week, and a shit next week, so this is kinda the “total perspective cortex”.

Heavy ADHD kind of day where I can’t focus on anything.. it sucks.
I was looking forward to learning to mount my ski bindings but there’s a few things I need that aren’t worth buying to use once. So I’ll save time and get a shop to do it & I can spin around and not focus on anything.
