Artist/crafter. I started drawing as a child and haven’t stopped. Exploring how to make and fix things while trying not to add any new hobbies. You have to be willing to be bad at something in order to be good at it.
Nighttime skies in the country are so spectacular on a clear night. I couldn’t sleep and when I stepped out of my tent was once again amazed by the beauty of the world.

The first of many little sculpturey things that I made. How does a person decide what to create? Becoming lost in the making of something. Deciding not to worry about whether someone else will like it or pay for it. Just having fun with making something. #art #creativity #mouse #alittleodd

Good morning, saw this little lady yesterday. A female Meadow Brown. Interesting fact, the females of this species of butterfly will very seldom leave the area they were born in, whilst the males will travel much further afield. #butterfly #FloralFriday #FlowersOnFriday #photography #EastCoastKin

This is beautiful!! It’s important for the insects that pollinate to have plants native to your part of the world. North America lost so much of its native species when the Europeans and then everyone else showed up.
This is your sign to kill your lawn and plant native wildflower seeds!

Part if making art is the final product not being what one expected. Isn’t this a beautiful shot?
It’s funny the way things come out. I had no intention of a bunch of innocent tulips ending up like this!
There must be a wish somewhere inside to put order to chaos on some level with all that’s going on right now
Let art be the expression 🖤🤍#EastCoastKin #blackandwhitephotography#botanicalart

Sunrises make beautiful skies! Sometimes I am awake to see them. One of the benefits of living further north is that I don’t have to get up too early for that during the colder times. #sunrise 🌞

I've lived in a few different parts of my country but it's the big skies that tug at my soul. Fortunately, I have found them in many places. #paintedskies #bigsky #art #canada

There’s no such thing as A.I “art.” It’s a soulless amalgamation of plagiarised data. That is the antithesis of art.
