Yeah, that's much more accurate. The romatized 80s everyone thinks of didn't occur until the Memphis design movement (around the late 80s and early 90s). Anything before were remnants of the 1970s.
Seriously, everybody seems to think the 80s were basically a Miami vice poster.
It was actually the smoke stained remains of 70s interior design.
