The purpose of transit is not to go back and forth and go *ding ding*. It's to go between places where people are and where they want to go. And politicians who don't ride the transit often can't tell the difference, thus: DC Streetcar. But damn, I'll miss those ding dings.

The CAHSRA CEO has been having serious talks with private investors to fund High Speed Rail. Gov. Newsom's commitment of at least $1 billion/year guaranteed to HSR can make that possible, bring the train to SF and LA sooner, and save money in the process. www.fresnobee.com/news/local/a...

For the proposed FY2026 budget, the addition of 11 new Metrobus routes are being proposed with increased midday, evening, and weekend service. Moving to an open payment system will allow customers to enjoy more convenience. #wmata
