We really could do with getting a couple of signings through the door? Need as much time to bed in before the season begins. #LUFC

Meslier! Have no words for him anymore

Only got an hour and a half hours sleep last night as my 10 week old son wouldn’t settle. 😴

This album certainly helping me during the night! #SamFender #PeopleWatching

That’s a penalty regardless of Solomon over hitting that. A foul is a foul

As great form James has been in, kinda feel a Ramazani or Gnonto would be more suited for this match in the second half too.

Elsewhere Rothwell for Tanaka early on in the half as he is booked, and Struijk on for Gruev to move Ampadu in midfield.

Disappointing, Sunderland look much the better team, well set up, solid at the back and very dangerous on the counter.

Type of game that I can’t see us scoring in. Couple of key players with daft bookings doesn’t help.

In most games under Farke, we HAVE to score first.

Damn! That’s a hell of a signing and one to be jealous of!

Regardless of us being top of the league and not signing anyone, our rivals Sheff Utd, Burnley and Sunderland are all ‘better’ than they were Jan 1st and bridge the gap more.

Our squad is smaller (Minus Gelhard/Crew)
🚨🟣 EXCL: Burnley are in advanced talks to sign Marcus Edwards from Sporting as negotiations are at final stages.Scott Parker, key factor for Edwards’ decision as they were teammates at Tottenham.

Remember when we signed him we had just 3 senior CBs when we loaned out Llorente and brought in Monteiro as a replacement. He was originally billed as a U23s signing who may break into first team but doesn’t really sound like he’s really made the jump?

Thought he’d have been in and around it by now
Diogo Monteiro scores for #LUFC U21s against Birmingham, 2 years to the day after he joined the club.

Hopefully this can be a mini-restart for his career: when he arrived at Leeds, he'd already played for Servette's 1st team a few times, but it's not been an easy ride for him here.

Seems like hardly any links or credible ones to any signings? I still can’t see us getting anyone in before the deadline.
January 29, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Take the point but that was there for the taking. Can’t help but feel a proper number 10 and we’d have won today, do actually rate Aaronson but his decision making in key positions was poor today. So frustrating.

Burnley defence is scarily good though.
📰 The points are shared at Turf Moor after a goalless 90 minutes in Lancashire.

Aaronson good endeavour but not always making the most of his time in ball. Burnley look rock solid at the back. I’d bring Firpo in for Byram soon in 2nd half
January 27, 2025 at 9:01 PM
What’s the predictions for the transfer window then?

I’m still going with 0 signings and just Crew and Gelhardt loaned out. In terms of exits.

What a stressful day, 5-6 hour power cut with newborn twins ain’t the best.
January 24, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Don’t get to go out much these days with having newborn twins, but is it sad that little perks at home like our recent purchase of a Hotel Chocolat velvetiser make you feel like you’re an artisan barista at home? Such a good machine. @hotelchocolat.bsky.social

Average performance but won game.

Positives are Ramazani and Schmidt (deserves more minutes) and Darlow looked good.

Negatives - Gnonto (need better) and Joseph not taking his chance ( needs a goal), Guilavogui with a horror show at CB.

Good to have Firpo and Gruev back from an injury.
🎩 Round four awaits!

Gnonto and Joseph not taking their chance so far today. Gnonto looks like he’s quite far off Solomon, James and Ramazani for performance levels and end product at moment, he’s had a massive drop off in form since that Sunderland game.
January 11, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Getttt innn! Ramazani! Brilliant player.
January 11, 2025 at 7:02 PM
Dominated the half but no quality upfront. Gnonto has been miles off it today. Would bring James on early second half for him. He’s not taking much of his time of late.

Schmidt has been man of the match so far. Looks our best attacking player. Ramazani also impressive too.
January 11, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Ramazani doing well. We are lacking a bit of quality in the final third at the moment. Games like this where we could do with a playmaker number 10 to unlock the defence.
January 11, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Would love Joseph to get a couple. Hes a brilliant player right up until his finish, seems to rush and snatch at shots too much. Just needs to have more of a calm instinct in front of goal.
CHANCE. Leeds defend and then attack in the blink of an eye, Ramazani nipping away from a challenge. Feeds Joseph who shoots and Burrell slides in to clear.

0-0

That’s a penalty every day of the week. Got away with one there.
January 11, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Much stronger than I thought. No Debayo, Crew or Chambers.

Be interesting to see Meslier reception on the bench.
