The battle to whiten our #media is growing. First Condé Nast folds Teen Vogue, a progressive, youth-led publication, into Vogue firing all of the diverse and queer staff.

The bar exam is obvious rent-seeking by lawyers, meant to artificially limit their number so that they can charge exorbitant fees for their services, ensuring a multi-tiered justice system in which the poor are fucked.

I'm of two minds about the Epstein stuff:

1) This kind of blatant collusion between predators, implicating wide swaths of people isn't exclusive to elites but is found all over the place, even in scenes that really *should* know better

and

2) Pedocon theory is real. Just look at how MAGA gets […]

South Park is prone to extreme hyperbole yet this is just straight up accurate. Gives me flashbacks to dealing with my wrist.
If you don’t know what that is, you’re lucky!

All you need to know is this South Park video is very real

sorry y'all. this shit isn't a hypothetical to me. I was alienated from the Oklahoma City punk scene in 2012 for speaking out against a rapist and the band who harbored him. I have seen the exact dynamics on display in the Epstein emails play out in a regular degular punk scene for years.

When a trans woman first accused Jeffrey Epstein of rape, the media mocked her - LGBTQ Nation
The New York Post called her a "man" and a "gender-bend shocker."

I suppose most wealthy philanthropists aren’t running child sex trafficking rings but I’d rather run things in a way such that you neither need nor even welcome philanthropy. The state is also a corrupting influence; see all the extortion of schools by the Trump admin and other regimes.

Ask not why ~some~ gay fiction (yuri, yaoi, and so on) have a masc x fem dynamic that you read as pseudoheteronormative. Ask why masc4masc and fem4fem straight couples - which also totally exist! - aren’t often represented in romances.

One of the first of Epstein's victims to come forward was a trans woman and they made it about her transness instead of the heinous crime itself (htt @imgwendy@threads.net).
