I have one and I will say I find it useful when traveling so that I know if I need to ask a friend/neighbor to bring in my bins or something. also useful if a delivery-person rings the doorbell and I can get on voice from across the city/country and tell them where to place it out of sight

I have a deep and abiding affection for anyone earnestly engaging in civil discourse about the SW movies online and ultimately it's nice to like things—and far be it that I 'convince' anyone that R1 is a worse film than they feel it is!—it is illustrative of my view that I hate both those parts lmao

I agree it seems like the studio totally gave up on it. there are good ideas there! a femme fatale storyline that ices his heart absolutely belongs in the movie... unfortunately it seems like no one in leadership had confidence in the actual story and buried it in prequel-slop cliche

it's a wretched viewing experience

R1 and TFA are both hollow gestures towards 'a new kind of Star Wars' that ultimately collapse in on themselves to repeat the tropes of the original movies but in more garish and nonsensical ways — I've seen R1 more recently if I watched TFA I'd probably remember how awful it is and downrank it too

fucking crazy that this is the title of the movie btw and it's not even his name????? Imagine if the customs agent had put him down as 'Single'

I'll acquiesce to the reality that 2001 made a lot of people, very much including many Democrats, go out of their fucking minds. And further that said mass insanity was the deciding factor in the 2024 election. I'm not prepared to acquiesce that he _deserved_ his role as sin eater for that era.

Rogue One is completely dreadful, almost unwatchably bad. I gave it a second shot after finishing Andor and the whiplash in quality was absurd
