2. The website marchforaustralia.org was registered on the 8th of August - or 8/8. "88" being a Neo-Nazi dogwhistle referencing the SS. The social media accoutns were set up over the following days.

15 OECD countries had elections last year (and Germany in Feb 2025). All of them, except Mexico, saw swings against incumbent parties, and swings towards far-right parties.

Australia bucked both trends. #auspol

Defend Dissent Coalition organised a rally today to stand up against the anti-protest laws in the Victorian Parliament. Masks, chains, and glue are to be banned.

New desk! Previous owners had to downsize and didn’t have any family willing to take it, so it ended up being stupidly cheap. It once belonged to a Ballarat (or Bendigo, can’t remember) businessman, and was passed down through his family until now.
