Exactly ……he likes to set “extreme anchors” (negotiation, language) to control the conversation and knock people off their foundations…… so he has more room for creating agendas, etc.? Seems crucial to pretty much ignore and focus only what he *does, which is of course barely possible but…..

2/ Create groups that are more or less transparent for a period of time/seasonal. Create groups/threads…. that have an automatic containment date like a time capsule….

Yes,  and it seems like the science is a social psychology and communication themselves are breaking down in part due to the influx of disinformation. If users were able to play finite in infinite games with their posting and threads that could be helpful.

The design of social software is *hard* in general. I think most devs don’t have the background in human psychological or social dynamics to do it.
It’s particularly hard nowadays because most people have lived experiences of *bad* or inhumane/exploitative designs, so also they tend to react to

I have been online in some capacity for 35+ years and have experienced so many different types of tools and been part of so many online communities, and I consider myself a mere amateur scientist in this area.
