Game of the week! I definitely forgot to do it last week so it's a double helping. First up Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary, released only in Japan for the PS2! Secondly, PES 6 with its ridiculously overpowered Adriano. It it is still so, so good. #retrogames #playstation

Game Of The Week is Mass Destruction on the Sega Saturn. Very fun tank based shooter, I remember thinking the explosions looked amazing back when I first played this in 1997. Did I choose this as the title sums up how my body feels after a weekend stag do in Dublin? Perhaps. #sega #segasaturn #retro

Monday was the 30th Anniversary of the launch of the PlayStation 1 in the UK and it was also the day my gorgeous 30th Anniversary console & Portal arrived. I love them. I love them so much. #30thanniversary #playstation

I am in Japan! It is wonderful! Have so far been to Osaka and Kyoto, now staying at Lake Yamanakako not far from Mount Fuji. I have taken way, way too many photos but here are a few favourites from the first 5 or so days.

I have been 38 for one whole month and the whole time I have either been slightly ill, fully ill, or running a marathon. Nothing else. That is my life now.
I'm currently on the couch having reverted to fully ill and honestly done with it all. Someone come suffocate me with a pillow.

Don't hugely rate them myself but not sure why you would feel compelled to apologise for them? They havent released anything for ages.

I have never claimed to be a fan of The Rolling Stones,I certainly don't dislike them, but not one of my faves. With that in mind, Hackney Diamonds is pretty good?? I'm 6 tracks in and they are all pretty decent (Angry and Whole Wide World best for me so far)
