Just in case anyone is wondering about "why was there verification two months ago when AU's social media ban started only now?", it was for age verification in other countries. The same system for verification is still in place.

If they really did not keep our data, it would not have been stolen.

I do not trust the age verification systems with any of my personal information, just as I would not post it anywhere else online.

Discord is one of the affected platforms. Their verification stated "We do not keep your data after verification", but they did and 70K IDs were stolen 2 months ago.

Before anyone brings it up, I am quite certain use of VPNs is either in the process of being banned outright or already are.

(I looked it up to double check, and VPNs themselves aren't but use of them to get around verification *is*, regardless of actual age.)

The difference being my tutoring ability is now only "how would I approach it" rather than "what steps would work best for the student and their future work".

The best I can do now is make it up as I go along, going off of my intuition for what I would do to make something, but I do not trust it enough to teach efficiently enough for payment.
