Throwback to that time in 2015 when my father-in-law and I replaced a rotting board to stop ants from invading our rental. The landlord did deduct materials cost.

As yet I have only these three pictures of this couple. This last one probably taken at a wedding, possibly their grandson’s wedding in 1948.

Back in 2020, my mom downsized, and we cleaned out her house. Things found, tossed, treasured. All my grandma’s pictures came home with me except a box of framed photographs I forgot. Among them, I had documented, my 2x great grandparents’ wedding photo from 1900. But Mom found them in a closet!

Yes! The best typewriter is one that is cheap and local. Facebook Marketplace, eBay local pickup. Older friends or relatives might still have one squirreled away for you, but common machines can still go for less than $50. I’d find an SCM 6-series.

@warren.senate.gov Do we still have a CFPB? This feels like a slam dunk. Google inflated the prices of all these items. This restaurant’s menu says 11.50, 12.50, and 11.95 respectively. Google runs this scam all day and discloses nothing.

I love a goofy flop called “Oscar” (1991). Sly Stallone plays a gangster trying to go straight, and hijinks ensue. Marisa Tomei, Tim Curry, Kirk Douglas, and a stage play style script that could have been written at any time since 1930.

Finished fixing up this 1935 Remington-Rand Model 1. Last step was replacing the rollers on the paper fingers, which I pretty well figured out.
