QPR 1–4 Ipswich. Hurst inside a min, 1–1 at HT. Núñez FK right after restart, Hurst header after Esquerdinha’s A40-sized pot hole, then another Núñez FK for 1–4. Birthday pints in the Coningham & Raven > the football. Saints next. #QPR 🎂

A disappointing weekend of football continued on Sunday. A strange defeat for Moormead Panthers with two moments of officiating proving critical to the result. However, that didn't legislate for our under par performance against a team looking to get revenge for a 2-0 defeat a couple of weeks ago
Moormead Panthers 2–3 Hampton & Richmond
Today was a disappointing result in what turned into a strange game, but also one that gives us a lot to learn from.

Sad news. Tchéky Karyo was a great actor, a bit like a French Bryan Cranston. Rest in Peace and thanks for the art

Ten years after “He battles and he scraps,” QPR turned up at Derby and did neither. One hoofed goal conceded, one big chance ballooned, 62% of the ball, one shot on target. Structure, yes—fight, none.

QPR win ugly in South Wales.

Cook’s dark arts, Burrell’s touch, Madsen’s ball-hunting.
Less ball, more danger — the Stéphan blueprint.

Another disappointing London Derby day defeat where the mob from across the river take home the bragging rights but not the class
’Wall meet again
QPR owned the ball and the stats; Millwall owned the moments and crucial data—five shots on target, two goals, job done.

This week's match report for Moormead Panthers was written by manager James Kirkham while I am off galavanting in Sin City, US of A.
Woking Cougars 2-2 Moormead Panthers
In the battle of the big cats, the Panthers had the lion's share of the game. Good point away in the rain and drizzle, on a great pitch and with a solid referee.

No QPR report for the Sheffield Wednesday game as I am away in Vegas.

I watched in our hotel room in, which wasn't without it's own drama.

Thought it to as a drab game, we take the point and move onto the Oxford game.

Writing about my other love in football, aside from QPR, which is coaching at the grassroots level.

A bit of a classic to start our season at Moormead, and denied a famous comeback win from 3-1 down by a dubious late decision by the ref!
