In an era of government agents trampling on rights and lying about it in court, there is a scenario where filming interactions to use as evidence might be a case in favor of the glasses.

Excellent reporting. This reminds me that expecting government regulators to enforce cleanup can be a long battle. Case in point: Hanford Nuclear site’s decades long cleanup activity. Hanford is still the most contaminated site in the Western Hemisphere.
