So a referee I follow on tiktok posted this review of the two penalties awarded during the #ALLforCity game. Better analysis than anyone I’ve seen on the MLS payroll.

Full stop, that was garbage. Absolutely ridiculous for the VAR check to even occur at 110’ much less it be called a penalty on Joyner and @stlcitysc.com.

This is an embarrassment for MLS.

@mls.bsky.social the most disgraceful officiating I’ve ever seen, in any sport, in any league.

When the opponent’s coach apologizes for winning, you know you have a shit product. MLS and PRO need to improve dramatically. Embarrassing stuff

Beyond #allforcity:
The #Billikens Friday practice highlights are oozing with swagger. This team is different than the teams of the past decade. Please dear god prove me right. 🛐

Another #allforcity thought: change for change’s sake won’t be enough. This City deserves a great team. Somebody has to pony up, make BIG changes, SPEND, and build a great team.

We’ve long been too dependent on personnel who simply are not great.

My bullish thought while that disaster still stings:

They spend their whole season looking for something that works and then play their best half of the year; #allforcity should make as few changes as physically possible in the final 55’

Starters come off when they are physically unable to go on.

HT #RSLvSTL thoughts:

- Expectations were low, but holy

- It’s hard to imagine a team being less technically proficient than #AllForCITY. Make everything look hard.

- Do you bring on the kids? Does this aid their development? Unknown.

- The baby is teething. About as fun.
