When asked about the 150 Canadians held in ICE concentration camps, NDP leadership hopeful Yves Engler actually gave a straight answer. He laid out how Canada should hold Washington's feet to the fire, starting with demanding our people be released.

Every November, I wear a poppy for my great-grandfather, who left home to fight the Nazis. He didn't do it for glory or theatrics, but because fascism was a real threat. His sacrifice, and those of millions like him, will always command my respect.

I'm proud. I'm grateful. 🇨🇦 #lestweforget

ADAMS TONIGHT returns from hiatus to discuss Budget 2025, the 40,000 job cuts, and why Poilievre backed the Liberals on a confidence vote. A thoughtful conversation with @Michael Harris on what real leadership should look like, and why Canada deserves better. ⬇️

Had an awesome call with @michael_harris2525 today. We covered a lot, and made for one hell of a conversation. Catch the next episode of ADAMS TONIGHT, dropping tomorrow. 🎙️🔥

“BRO IT'S CALLED AGITATIONAL OUTREACH”

Finally getting around to posting some photos from Thursday at the Marriott. These didn't fit my op-ed, but they're perfect for social media. First up, me with Jonathan Rowe. My mom was very jealous that I got to meet an MP from back in pirate country 🏴‍☠️

My latest op-ed from Thursday's Poilievre rally: a room full of Zoomers, big emotions, zero policies, and a whole lot of sloganeering. Why young people keep showing up, and why progressives keep losing them. Read below 🔽

Apparently, every problem in Canada can be solved with just one more pipeline. Incredible stuff.

My latest for Provincial Times. #CDNpoli #RestoretheNorth 🔽

In Ontario, we may not be able to agree on everything, but one thing we can all get behind is the @bluejays .

Good luck in the World Series!

Just published my new piece on Restore the North. What I witnessed at TMU, the good, the bad, and the truth behind the “dialogue” Conservatives claim to champion. If we want real debate in Canada, we must demand better than scripted talking points. 👇

Daniel Tyrie is the perfect example of why I can't take modern “anti-woke” conservatism seriously. It's people paying actual money to be told their heritage somehow makes them more legitimate than their neighbours. It's arrogance dressed up as patriotism, and it's pathetic. 🔽

Wishing a very happy “long weekend holiday” to all who celebrate.

Do NOT lend credibility to far-right narratives by arguing on their terms. That's exactly what they want: to drag you into a bad-faith debate so they can twist your words and control the narrative. Instead, stand your ground. Everyone has the right to bodily autonomy.

On #Oct7th, I condemn terrorism and the killing of civilians by both Hamas & the Israeli military. We cannot solve this problem by continuing to silence people. Let us start over, rebuild from compassion, and finally end this endless cycle of violence. 🇨🇦🇮🇱🇵🇸

On Thursday, I had the honour of meeting @beynate.bsky.social and watching a live episode of Uncommons, one of my favourite podcasts. It was a great experience. Nate's a genuinely thoughtful, down-to-earth guy.

Always nice when someone you respect actually lives up to it.

Just rewatched The Lorax after many years. I'd forgotten about Cy, the O'Hare delivery guy who says trees are “worth a try.” Think about it: he basically spoke out against his own employer & lost his job for a better world. That's courage. That's public service.

Bravo, Cy! 🌳

@jagmeetsingh.ca's right that blaming the worker is backwards, as most people only notice the accent while ignoring that it's not “immigrants” but record numbers of TFWs being cycled in by 3 straight govts to work fast food. An issue Singh does not address in his tweet...

The slow burn to the next CPC leadership race feels like it's already started. Who do you think runs? 👀 My bet: we see the starting gun either this fall or next spring. Momentum is shifting, and ambition doesn't wait. Drop your names ⬇️ #cdnpoli #elxn45 #CPC #LeadershipRace

Trump sitting there like a stage prop while Netanyahu dictates U.S. foreign policy is the perfect picture of Washington's subservience to Zionism. Remember, the White House does not work for the American people.

This #OrangeShirtDay, my heart is with Survivors, their families, and the memory of the children who never came home from Residential Schools. Every child matters, and we must continue the work of reconciliation with humility and respect.

Respect and trust is earned and so far this man has been incapable of showing me he deserves either.
