While waiting for parts that have been taking a two week tour of Mississippi via @uspostalservice.bsky.social i got this M88 Seiko Sea Lion running a cased. It took some new parts to replace the rusted ones to make it happen and I am quite pleased with how well it turned out. #horology #watchsky

For #NYE2024 I am wearing a M99 Seiko Sea Lion from the mid 60’s. I got this watch as a non-runner and restored it to its former glory. One of the best parts of #watchmaking is the quiet concentration while working. #watchsky #watchrepair #horology

I received a Benrus DTU-2A/P from a client that was not running and needed a service. I found a bent hack pin and straightened it and cleaned everything. Now this watch from 1966/ Viet Nam era would have been issued to troops being deployed. Have a great New Year everyone

I have my Seiko Chronograph with a 7T24A quartz movement back on the workbench. I purchased this one as a non functional and have been able to get the chronograph to work, now to get the hour/minute hands and sub seconds hand to move on their own #horology #watchrepair
